What I Wore a Different Day...

I went out last night and watched a movie. Didn't rest well through the night, got up and exercised at the gym late this morning. Rushed around to get ready for work, and so I have no "What I am Wearing Wednesday" post. But I did snap a shot last week on a different day. And here it is. A beautiful Matisse earring and necklace set, enamel and copper.

What I'm Wearing Wednesday

A little bit of old Hollywood Glamor, and sadly today I will wear it in tribute for Elizabeth Taylor. As I was dressing I was going through what I own in my head. Because my pants are grey with a pink sweater I immediately think silver or pearls. This necklace and earrings came from my Grandmother and is a set stamped with Japan. It does remind me a bit of a Miriam Haskell.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day above is a Coro Pin. If you click on the pictures you can see them large.I do not have any Shamrock jewelry. So I thought, what would I wear? And here is a few I picked out which I don't own but would in a heartbeat...or in my case a bigger wallet.

I love the art deco look of the Crown Trifari pendant above and if your a classic, always wear black, this would offset it very well.

I also like this Lisner necklace and pendant though I would most likely wear the brooch in my hair or maybe get some black ribbon wrap it around my wrist and wear it as a bracelet. (depending on how much it would stick up)

Love the sleek shine of the silver in the Whiting and Davis necklace, again you would need to wear a basic color. Perhaps plum.

Of course I would find a copper Matisse set I don't own it but it's lovely!

And last how about what I own which is this Austrian glass necklace and earrings. I'm not sure how long these earrings will stay on at work but very classy whoo!

What I'm Wearing Wednesday

A dash of color was in order, and my husband who hates lipstick on women commented this morning as I left for work it was a good color scheme my lips are the same color as the necklace. Whoo! The necklace I may have bought at Cost Plus a long time ago it not branded and not vintage.

What I'm Wearing Wednesday & Thursday

Since I missed out yesterday I took the pictures but didn't have time to post. Here is Wednesday.

Bought from an antique mall going out of buisness I grabbed up these lucite bangles to add a chunk of color to what I was wearing.

Thursday on a whim I grabbed this necklace which is Trifari. below the same picture)

I also tried out some blush I typically don't wear blush and have added a personal note to self  "be a little less heavy handed"

Snakes on a...

In the latest Vogue and Elle for March your going to see snake patterned clothing, hand bags and accessories being featured. Now not everyone is into snakes or snake pattern but you can stay fresh with some jewelry. The earrings below are old Czech glass, and I think unless someone got up and looked close they wouldn't really be able to tell what they are featuring in the center metal piece. They do make that Statement earrings.

If your more into whimsical then you could try to find an old brooch like below. A vintage Hattie Carnegie brooch.

Or if you just want a touch there are rings currently on the market that can bring in the look. The last ring is Lucky Brand.

What I'm Wearing Wednesday

Today looking out the window it's grey and cold. I opted for a new colorful print shirt and tulip styled silver bracelet.

The bracelet is another Trifari pat pending that I picked up at the swap meet. I do have to try on all bracelets since my wrists are so small that I have to make sure that they don't fall off.
