Bracelets and Beads (Part Two)

Following up on my Big Bracelet post I went over to Etsy to see what type of cuff  type bracelets I could find that would be good for spring. Being a huge bead Geek I started to look. I found several.

Miriam Haskell vintage jewelry was also made with beads and or beading as a flourish to the piece. Here are two examples that relate to the above beading though she did many different styles.

As I got my Elle magazine I was very excited to see what accessories were going to head into spring. I saw the following editorial and loved it.

Then I back tracked through the magazine and there were many other bracelets allot of them cuffs and definitely allot of them very statement.

What I'm Wearing Wednesday

The Desert Sky. For me that what this necklace reminds me of the Mojave Desert. I lived there once, and I still go to visit and camp. The stone is Owyhee Picture Jasper. Another purchase from last months swap meet. Since it modern there not much to tell about. But out of all the Jasper I like this combo the best.

Honeysuckle

This is the Pantone color of the year. Unfortunately for me being a, from the bottle, redhead it would look horrible as a top or dress on me. But accessories are a can do. Below is a modern bracelet. Perhaps shoes with a bracelet or necklace will be all I need.

Or you can go vintage this is a Crown Trifari bracelet and necklace set.

What I'm Wearing Wednesday

Not all copper is created equal. Today wearing my crisp olive green shirt with a but of a military flare to it. I thought ah copper and knew exactly the pin to wear this vintage one by Renoir which I recently purchased at the Pasadena Swap Meet.

Until I realized I would look some some Star Trek reject if I pinned that to my shirt so that nixed that pin. So I grabbed another one I got at the swap meet below:

It's probably modern, but it was two flowery. Yup I was having a true Goldie Locks scenario. Upon looking at both I realized not all copper is created equal in that the Renoir is a richer pink hue and the other has a more brassy hue.

Needless to say I while I think copper is a great color to pair with olive green no matter the hue, I gave up and went with some flashy earrings. Ahhh just right!
